In finland there's this weird thing where in elementary school (either 5th or 3rd grade, I forgot which) children choose to either take woodwork or textiles in extra curriculum and usually boys go into woodwork and chicks into textiles but it's not forbidden to go as a chick into woodwork etc. In woodwork peeps do stuff like bird houses & clocks & other small items and in textiles peeps learn to crochet / sew / embroider / knit and do small stuff like pencil cases, toys etc. You take those classes up to the end of middle school where the items you do get larger (you make clothes/knit socks etc). There are other extra curriculum you can take as vocational classes like home ec (fuck yea best class ever...you get to make cakes and eat them in school f yea) but woodwork/textiles are the only ones you have to take either. Dunno if other countries have this thing, but thought I'd clear it up.

We have this in the US as well, but it varies widely from place to place and generally only happens in middle and high school.
For my middle school everyone took both FACS (cooking, sewing, health related education) and tech (woodworking and technical drafting) regardless of gender in middle school, but all of those types of class were optional in high school.
Back in the '70s when my mom was in high school though, she wasn't allowed to take woodshop so she joined the school band to get out of home ec.

In my school we had both :D Woodwork and Textiles ;) You have them in turns because the class splits into 2 big groups :D
And so 1 half of the year one group has Woodwork and the other Textiles and then it changes.
But that was on my school like this :D
Good for him finding a hoppy like this :D ... Bad for his teacher xD

I'm sure he could find some way to accidentally kill someone in a handcrafts class.
By the way, if you're still confused about how to use Tapastic there's now this great post that kmclaude put together: http://kmclaude.tumblr.com/post/140022890215/how-to-get-started-on-tapastic

Okay, you are very very excellent at shading and making the correct atmosphere and characters and I hope you will be okay enough to continue soon because this comic is awesome and giggleworthy and overally just gives life ;w;
